Capezzana Tuscan Extra Virgin Olive Oil

This unfiltered oil is the result of blending Frantoio, Moraiolo, Pendelino, Leccino and Santa Caterina olives. Count Ugo and Countess Lisa Contini are the owners of the estate that only uses the traditional methods of pressing which yields to this deep green color, buttery texture and fresh fruit flavors. This particular oil is produced in the countryside just outside of Florence on Tenute di Capezzana, a medieval estate that has produced olive oil since the year 804. This is a small production oil and has a typically forceful, peppery Tuscan style. It is a finishing oil, not recommended for use in cooking or baking.
